Terms of Service

Last updated: November 4, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Truetech Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited ("Truetech", "we", "us") covering your use of the Onetap Android app and this website. Truetech is a single member company incorporated in Pakistan with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, CUIN 0350021, and can be reached at info@truetechsol.org.

By installing or using Onetap you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. How Onetap handles your information is set out separately in the Privacy Policy.

Who can use Onetap

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and able to enter into a binding contract. Onetap is not directed at children.

What Onetap is, and what it isn't

Onetap is a personal record-keeping tool. It turns what you say, what you type and, if you switch it on, the payment notifications of the banking apps you choose into a ledger of your spending, and shows it back to you as totals, budgets and exports.

Onetap is not a bank, and it is not a financial, tax, accounting, legal or investment advisor. Nothing in it is advice or a recommendation. It has no connection to any bank: it cannot move money, see your balance or log in to an account. It only reads the notifications your banking apps already show on your phone.

Spoken entries and bank notifications are interpreted by an AI model, and an AI model can be wrong. It can misread an amount, miss a notification, record one twice or place an entry in the wrong category, and a bank can change the wording of its alerts at any time. Spoken entries open in an editor for you to confirm, but entries from bank notifications are recorded automatically. You are responsible for checking your ledger and for any decision you make on the strength of it. If a figure matters, for a tax return, a loan application or a dispute, check it against your bank, not against Onetap.

Your data, and what we can and cannot recover

Your ledger is encrypted and kept on your device. Backup is optional and writes into a private folder inside your own Google Drive that only Onetap can see. We never receive a copy. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail, including exactly what is sent to be interpreted and what is not.

The direct consequence, which we would rather state plainly than bury: we cannot recover your data. Not from a lost or reset phone, not from a deleted backup, and not from a Google account you have lost access to. There is no copy on our side to restore from. Keeping your backups current, and keeping access to the Google account holding them, is your responsibility.

Notification access

Bank automation works only if you grant Onetap notification access in Android's settings and add the banking, wallet or payment apps you want it to watch. You choose which apps are added, and you can revoke the access or switch bank automation off at any time. Only add apps whose notifications are yours to share with Onetap.

The free trial and the free plan

Everything in Onetap is free for three days, counted from when you finish setting the app up. No card and no sign-up are needed, and nothing is charged when the three days end.

After that, the free plan has no time limit and no ads. It keeps adding, editing and deleting expenses by hand, the period you are in, your categories, tags and search, and budgets with their alerts, in one list.

Nothing you recorded is deleted, hidden or locked when the trial ends. Payment alerts that arrive while you are not subscribed are held on your phone, not sent anywhere, and offered for you to record if you subscribe. Anything not dealt with is removed after 30 days.

Onetap Pro

Onetap Pro adds voice entry, bank automation, every period you have tracked rather than only the current one, CSV and PDF export, Google Drive backup and restore, and more than one list. It is sold as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product, not yours. It is a single payment that entitles you to Pro on Onetap for Android for as long as we offer the app, with no renewal. It is not a promise that Onetap will be published forever, and it does not extend to a different app or platform we might release later.

Voice entry and bank automation depend on an AI provider reached through a relay we operate. To keep the service working for everyone, the relay limits how many requests one installation can make in a day, and the features need an internet connection. We will try to keep them available, but we do not guarantee that they are never interrupted.

Payment, renewal and refunds

Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded; do not redistribute or resell it, or try to obtain Pro without paying for it; do not misuse or overload the relay behind voice entry and bank automation, or use it for anything other than the app; and do not use Onetap to break the law. We may end your access if you do.

Pre-release builds

Any beta, debug or test build we make available outside the Google Play release is provided for testing only, as is and unsupported. It may contain defects, may lose data, and receives no guarantee of updates or compatibility with later releases. Use the Google Play release for anything you care about keeping.

Changes to the app

Onetap is under active development. We may add, change or remove features, change the AI provider behind them, and we may stop publishing the app entirely. If we ever discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice on this site so you can export your data first. Because your data is on your device, a discontinued app does not take your records with it.

Ownership

Onetap, its name, logo, design and code are owned by Truetech Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership. The data you record is yours. We claim no rights over it and make no use of it beyond what the Privacy Policy describes.

Disclaimer

Onetap is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the app is free of defects, that every notification is captured, or that amounts, categories, totals or budget figures are accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truetech is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss or corruption of data. This expressly includes financial decisions taken on the basis of anything shown in the app, and entries that were misread, missed or duplicated.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you actually paid for Onetap in the twelve months before the claim, which, on the free plan, is nothing.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and you may have consumer rights that these terms cannot override.

Ending these terms

You can end them at any time by uninstalling the app (and cancelling any subscription in Google Play). We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach them. The disclaimer, liability and governing-law sections survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top always shows the current version. Continuing to use Onetap after an update means you accept it; if you do not, stop using the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Sindh have jurisdiction, except where the law of the country you live in gives you consumer rights or a local forum that cannot be contracted away, in which case those apply.
